Millicent Rogers was born into wealth in 1902. Along with her adrogony, she had a unique sense of fashion through the years. She wore the  fashions of Elsa Schiaparelli, Charles James and many other couture names, she was somewhat of a fashion icon. Millicent moved to Toas and became fascinated with native american art, jewelry and hispanic textiles. Sadly, Millicent died in 1953, a few years later in 1956 her family took her amazing collection of art and formed the Millicent Rogers Museum.
